Bigg Boss 19 Update: Gaurav Khanna First Finalist; Rupali Cheers Win

Actor Gaurav Khanna, who hosts Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 19 reality show, has claimed the title of the very first finalist. In the aftermath of winning the ticket to the finale task, Khanna's storyline has gotten the most attention from people who have been advocating for his win since the beginning of the last week of the show.

At a recent occasion, Khanna's Anupamaa co-star Rupali Ganguly came out strongly in support of Khanna, saying he is the one who should get the trophy. Ganguly, whose character is paired with Khanna's Anuj Kapadia in the popular Rajan Shahi production, also named Amaal Mallik, Farrhana Bhatt, and Tanya Mittal as her contenders for her admiration.

“I have a special liking for Amaal. The content that Farrhana, Tanya, and others have produced has been very good. Gaurav is the winner among the rest. Sooooh! Kapadia ji, you will be the winner,” Rupali said, indirectly referring to Khanna’s famous character in the long-running TV series.

Gaurav, in an interview with Zoom/Telly Talk, previously talked about the excitement and fear he had while entering the Bigg Boss house. He stated that the audience sees him in a certain light, but in reality, he is more complicated. “I am not a superhuman as my characters might imply. There is a real person with all the regular feelings behind the actor. I have tolerance, endurance, and a wide emotional range, but essentially I am like everybody else,” he said.

The audience will be able to see Gaurav Khanna in the grand finale on December 7, 2025. The show is broadcast on Colors TV and can also be watched online through JioHotstar.
